In the lead up to “Decadent Decay,” I devised and produced an online project - “Decay in a Box”. This digital experience provided a glimpse into the immersive world of the Decadent Decay live event.
We placed organic objects in a sealed container and live-streamed their decay over 40 days on the Guerilla Science YouTube channel. The resulting box and time-lapse video were displayed at the Decadent Decay banquet.
The accompanying music is a piece written by violinist and composer Jeffrey Young specifically for Decadent Decay, exploring the natural decay of a violin's sounds.
